My research is looking at the contrast between opposites. Such as:
Space - hot and cold
Time - past and present
Colour - colour or black and white
Emotion - happy or sad
Depth of field - focused or blurred
Light - dark or light
Temperature - hot or cold
Surface - rough or smooth
Etcetera...
After some recent thought and consideration I have decided that I will concentrate my research on the question:
Can colours critise each other as opposed to colours that compliment each other?
or maybe
What does poetic darkness metaphorically and visually translate into?
From which I will produce a piece of motion graphics that can be used as promotional video for my own portfolio brand JAC which stands for Jackalcreative.
This will hopefully help me develop skills at branding, motion graphics, promotion, marketing and graphic design. Which are all areas that I would like to become professional at so that when I finish my MA I can get a job in a design studio and put this into practice.
